LOS ANGELES (TND) — The inaugural season of ABC's "The Golden Bachelorette" is officially in the works.

The moment you’ve been waiting for: #TheGoldenBachelorette is coming this Fall," according to the upcoming show's first Instagram post.

ABC's website noted that more details, including the woman who will star as the bachelorette, as well as the rest of the cast, will be announced at a later date.

The reality TV show will follow a woman's journey with love during her golden years. It is a spinoff to "The Bachelor" and will come after the popularity of 2023's "The Golden Bachelor."

After dating a pool of 22 eligible women who were looking for love, 72-year-old Gerry Turner proposed to Theresa Nist and the two were later married on live TV.

During the season finale in November, Turner got down on one knee and asked Nist to be his bride. One of the former contestants, Susan Noles, officiated the ceremony.

Throughout the show, Turner often mentioned his wife of 43 years, Toni, who died in 2017. Nist's husband also passed away, and she and Turner bonded over their losses.

Since tying the knot, Turner and Nist have been sharing photos of their adventures on social media.

According to ABC's website, "the debut season of 'The Golden Bachelor' reached 43.4 million Total Viewers after 35 days of viewing across linear and streaming platforms and ranks as the No. 1 new unscripted series this season among Adults 18-49/ The show was also ABC's No. 1 unscripted series premiere ever on Hulu.

"The Golden Bachelorette" will air on ABC and be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
