SAN DIEGO, Cal. – University of Nevada sophomore first baseman Dillan Shrum was named the Mountain West All-Tournament baseball team. Shrum batted .333 with three runs scored, three RBI and two home runs in two games.
In the Wolf Pack’s game with UNLV he doubled and scored a run going 1-for-5 in the first round game. Against San Jose State University he blasted a two-run homer in the sixth inning and in his next at bat hit a solo home run to finish the day 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Shrum joined teammate Joshua Zamora as the only Nevada players to homer twice in a game this season. The El Cajon, Calif. native finished second on the team this season with seven home runs.
