RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a home in Stead on Friday afternoon.

Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to the 9700 block of Silver Sky Parkway on the report of a shooting.

When officers got on scene, they found two people dead and the suspect still there. Police say there is no threat to the public and no suspects on the run.

The two people killed will not be identified until next of kin has been notified.
