The Food Bank of Northern Nevada partners with about 150 organizations throughout northern Nevada and eastern California. These partner agencies create organization, man power and locations that are essential to get food to thousands of people every month.

News 4-Fox 11's Shelby Sheehan visited a unique pantry that not only feeds the community but takes it a step further in promoting good health.

News 4, Fox 11 and Nevada Sports Net are making an ongoing commitment to help feed hungry kids in our area through a campaign called "Souper Bowl of Caring." We've partnered with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and local businesses to raise money to support the programs that are helping combat the problem, but we are going to need your help too.

Members of our teams will be outside the Smith's grocery store in south Reno all day Friday, February 9 collecting monetary and canned good donations for the local food bank.
