Four people were found dead in a home in South Lake Tahoe Monday in what police believe is a drug-related incident.

Police responded to a home on the 500 block of Roger Ave. just after 9 a.m. on Feb. 12 on the report of an unresponsive person getting CPR.

When emergency responders got on scene, they found two people who were dead. Life-saving measures were being done on two other people, however, they were unsuccessful. Three men and one woman between the ages of 30 and 40 all died on scene.

The South Lake Tahoe Police Department said substance abuse is suspect but won't be confirmed until autopsies are completed.

Two other people were inside the home during the incident and police said they're cooperating with the investigation.

Police are asking residents to stay out of the area until the investigation has concluded.
