Former Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly violating a protective order, the second time in as many months he's been booked on the charge.

Records show Jones was booked into Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday on suspicion of violating a domestic violence temporary protective order. Court records indicate he has posted bond.

Details on his latest arrest were not immediately available.

Jones was arrested after the mother of his child told police on Sept. 28 that he was in her backyard, a violation of a protective order she had against him.

Police wrote that by the time they arrived at her house, Jones was gone. The woman told police that Jones was sending her messages via Snapchat earlier in the day and she later saw him pull into her driveway. She said he began taking items from the backyard, like a recycling bin and dog toys, before leaving. He then sent her videos showing him burning the items.

Later that night, officers found Jones had parked his car in the woman's driveway.

He told police "to just take him out of the car," the report states. "It appeared he knew he was not supposed to be at the residence due to the protection order."

Jones signed a three-year contract with the Raiders in the 2022 offseason and appeared in 15 games last year.

In September, he began posting several bizarre claims and outlandish accusations to social media against head coach Josh McDaniels, general manager Dave Ziegler and owner Mark Davis. He also claimed he was taken to a mental health facility in Henderson on a court order.

The Raiders released Jones following his arrest last month after not appearing in a game this season. He is scheduled to return to court for September's arrest on Dec. 4 and again for this week's arrest on Dec. 19.
