Ingredients

1 box brownie mix, baked and cooled

2 c. heavy cream

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4 c. sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

5.9 oz. box instant chocolate pudding, prepared

1 lb. strawberries, sliced

Chocolate dipped strawberries or chocolate shavings to garnish

Directions

1.Cut the cooled brownies into bite-size pieces. Add the heavy cream, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla to a mixing bowl. Use a hand-mixer to mix the cream to soft peaks (4-5 minutes). Prepare the pudding as directed on the box. Set aside.

2.Make sure to have 1 large trifle dish or 4-6 small ones. You can use a clear bowl of any size if you like. Build the trifles with a layer of brownies on the bottom. Follow that with a layer of the cream mixture. Next, place some sliced strawberries flat side visible on the side of the dish all the way around. Keep those in place with a layer of the chocolate pudding.

3.Continue to follow the same order of layers to the top of the dish with the top being a layer of cream. Garnish the top with a chocolate dipped strawberry or as many as will fit. You can also simply garnish with shaved chocolate bar. Share with your favorite Valentine. Enjoy!
