The Oakland Athletics say they will unveil new renderings of a potential stadium in Las Vegas next week.

The renderings will be revealed as part of an event on Monday to celebrate Major League Baseball's approval of the team relocating to Southern Nevada.

John Fisher, the owner of the A's, and Danish architect Bjarke Ingels are expected to be in attendance.

The first renderings were released earlier this year as lawmakers worked on a bill to provide up to $380 million in public funding for constructing the ballpark.

Under the terms of the bill that was signed into law, the stadium must be located at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, where the Tropicana casino-resort currently stands.

Team officials announced a binding agreement for nine acres of land at the site, though it's still unclear how a ballpark will fit in that footprint while also including a retractable roof.

The A's have said they expect to complete the venue in time for the 2028 season.
